With us connectedness with nature is not a trend. It is the starting point for everything developed here – from the architecture through the menu to our personal interaction with guests. It is something that anyone on holiday in Hinterglemm immediately feels: with us nature is not just outside but is also our constant companion indoors.

The mountains, forests and seasons of the Glemm Valley shape our actions. They remind us what matters: honesty, clarity and mindfulness. We make our decisions in harmony with the environment – and with the awareness that offering hospitality also comes with responsibility.

Connected with nature – indoors and outdoors

Whether you are hiking, skiing or taking a stroll along the Saalach – the nature around our hotel is powerful, vibrant and inspiring. But with us being connected to nature doesn’t end at the hotel door. It is manifested in the materials that we choose, in how we design and in our daily actions. Wood, premium materials, stone – natural, unobtrusive, long-lasting. Our rooms are minimal in terms of design but rich in atmosphere. They are designed to be retreats in which nature can be felt.

And we also emphasise authenticity when it comes to decoration: flower meadows in the summer, fir branches in winter, materials from the environment.

Regionality on the plate

For us cuisine is an expression of attitude. Here at the Hotel ARBOR we value the origin of the products that reach our table. Many suppliers are local farmers and producers who we know personally. The selection of our ingredients depends on the season – not trends. This results in dishes that are light, fresh and honest.

Our afternoon snack also reflects this philosophy: homemade desserts, regional spreads, cheese and sausage from the local area – a little moment of pleasure with a great origin. We believe that quality is a characteristic that can also be tasted.

Relax in a natural environment

As a hotel with wellness facilities we have also designed our wellness area with a connection to nature and restraint. The warmth of the sauna, the light in the rest room, the view outside – everything is designed to promote inner tranquillity. We offer a Finnish sauna, a vitarium (combination of traditional sauna and steam bath) and an infrared cabin. Our offering is supplemented with a Lenzbichl fountain with fresh water from our own source.

Here the day can be rounded off to perfection – whether it's after a summit tour, a peaceful winter hike or a fantastic day of skiing.
